First, Ben, I am glad and impressed that you have read the Constitution Party National Platform.

HOWEVER, you make an erroneous interpretation of the platform, especially its Sanctity of Life plank. The national platform does not "strip" anyone of their rights.  The national platform espouses our belief that NO ONE has a "right" to murder - legally or otherwise.

Philadelphia State Representative, Brian Sims, said. “I implored you then as I do now — as an attorney, as a civil rights advocate, and as a legislator that has sworn to uphold the Constitution and not the Bible or any other religious document — to see this legislation for what it actually is, an end around the U.S. Supreme Court and the Constitution that is beneath this body.”

“I implored you then as I do now — as an attorney, as a civil rights advocate, and as a legislator that has sworn to uphold the Constitution and not the Bible or any other religious document — to see this legislation for what it actually is,” Sims said.

Sims continued: “Legislators like each of us in this room have absolutely no business making personal medical decisions for other people.”
