Not on My Watch!!

It was one year ago this month (August, 2013) at their national convention that the Republican Party selected Mitt Romney to be their official nominee for the office of President. In June of last year, Illinois Republicans held their state convention at which Romney was selected to be their nominee. Earlier, on March 17, 2012, the Missouri’s St. Charles Republican Caucus had to be shut down and the police called in because of the way the meeting was conducted. Check out the videos for each of these.

All of these conventions (and I’m sure there were others) demonstrate just how corrupt the leadership of the Republican Party is. Reports reflect that this is the strategy that was used in 2008 to keep candidate delegates from being able to have their voices heard and cast their vote for their candidate. What’s amazing about this as we were entering the Presidential election season as early as 2010 (as candidates were beginning to announce themselves for the 2012 elections), I was telling everyone that what happened in 2008 was just a precursor to what would happen in 2012. And every time I was told, “NO, we will storm the convention…). In a way, I was hoping that I was wrong, yet, even then I couldn’t imagine the level of corruption that was used in 2012 and even more disturbing is how it has been left to stand.

Ron Paul recognized the corruption of the two-party-duopoly, when endorsed Chuck Baldwin, (http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/10/paul.endorsement/) the Constitution Party candidate for President back in 2008: and yet he allowed himself to fall victim to the “Two-Party-Charade” all over again. Even more incredible is that even after this recognition, he tried again in 2012 where the Republican Party used even more tactics to keep him off the ballots, which made no real sense. Just imagine if he would have rallied the troops under a third party banner. Neither the Republicans nor the Democrats could have stopped him from being on the ballot in ALL 50 states.

Let’s not forget the Illinois Republicans elected Judy Barr Topinka (who was really more liberal and corrupt that Rod Blagojevich, and you all know where he is) as their Gubernatorial candidate. Check out how long she has been an elected official in and for the Republican Party, she was an:

  • Illinois State Representative (1981-1984)
  • Illinois State Senator (1985-1994)
  • Illinois State Treasurer (1995-2007);
  • Illinois State Republican Chairman (2002-2005);
  • Illinois State Republican Nominee for Governor (2006)
  • Illinois State Comptroller (2011- )

It was back in 2006 that I ran for Governor as a Constitution Party candidate, but was knocked off the ballot and decided that the fight was not over and ran as a “WRITE-IN” candidate, receiving nearly 20,000 officially recorded votes, mostly because people couldn’t stand Topinka. In fact, it was because of this dislike that Rich Whitney, the Green Party Candidate for Governor received somewhere around 13-16% of the vote, establishing the Green Party as an “Established (major) Party” here in Illinois.

All this and not to mention that back in 2010, instead of giving Republicans a true conservative to be their nominee for U.S. Senate they nominate Mark Kirk by spending nearly a quarter of a million dollars to keep a Constitution Party candidate (me) from being on the ballot by 65 signatures.

Ok, so Republicans have been yelling and screaming that they are taking back the (reforming their) Republican Party ever since 2006 (probably longer, but this is the time period of my involvement in politics). My only question is:

HOW WELL HAS THIS BEEN WORKING OUT FOR YOU AND CONSERVATIVES OF THESE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA??

Republicans - Nationally (Since 2006):

  • Reince Priebus was first elected as chairman of the Republican Party in 2011. HE WAS THE CHAIRMAN DURING THE NATIONAL REPUBLICAN FIASCO. THEN IN 2013 HE WAS REELECTED.
  • John Boehner, Speaker of the House, is reelected. Do I really need to go through all the ills?
  • Most of the “Teaparty Candidates” have either been replaced or marginalized since the elections in 2010.

Republicans - Illinois (Since 2006):

  • Judy Barr Topinka (GOP Chair, 2002-2005 (ok, this was before 2006, but still adds to the point))
  • Andy Mckenna (GOP Chair, 2005-2009)
  • Pat Brady (GOP Chair, 2009-2013)
  • Jack Dorgan (GOP Chair, 2013 - )
  • Judy Barr Topinka (Treasurer, 1995-2007)
  • Judy Barr Topinka (Comptroller, 2011 - )
  • Dan Rutherford (Treasurer, 2011 - )
  • Mark Kirk (Senator, 2010 - )

Of course there are others, but this list should suffice to demontrate the point.

Here’s an interesting article by former Republican General Council, Doug Ibendahl entitled, “IL GOP finally gives up, picks Democrat as new Party Chair,” where he talks about the election of Jack Dorgan who seems to have more ties with the Democrat Party than the Republican: http://republicannewswatch.com/wp/?p=12679 .

MY POINT IN ALL OF THIS…

It’s beyond time to realize that conservative Americans are NOT going to take back their once “Grand” Old Party. Even if they could, IT’S TIME TO DESTROY THE TWO-PARTY-SYSTEM!! If we are ever going to see corruption at every level of government minimalized or destroyed, it will be through a multi-party-system, WHERE COMPETITION RULES THE DAY and everyone’s voice has an opportunity to be heard, not just those globalist selected voices.

If you REALLY want to see America restored to its constitutionally mandated boarders, it won’t come through the empowerment of the same old cronies who have brought this country to its knees. It will come from the 10% of Americans who are not only awake, but are engaged in the salvation of our nation AND it will not be through the two-party-duopoly, but through a third party effort that is NOT CONTROLLED by the globalist elites.

Join me in the Constitution Party, the only party that is truly dedicated and predicated upon the Constitutional Principles that founded this country and gave rise to the greatest nation to have ever existed upon the face of the planet.

YES!! I know it will be hard, but unlike reforming the Republican Party, it won’t be impossible. And remember, if it’s easy, it’s probably a trap.

I’m not looking for the mass of sheep that is following the leaders of this country into the abyss. I AM LOOKING FOR MEN AND WOMEN WHO ARE NOT AFRAID TO LOOK THE ENEMY IN THE EYE AND SAY: NOT ON MY WATCH!!

Yours in Liberty
